Political Protests, Global Influence, and the Ripple Effect: A Call for Patience and Perspective
Note: I am just an observer reflecting on the current events in the world. In this post, I will be highlighting three P-ings… Protests, Power, and Patience.
In recent times, especially in the United States, the world has witnessed a surge in political protests and ideological clashes. As an observer, I find it important to reflect — not to criticize or endorse, but to understand the larger implications of these actions, both within and beyond America’s borders.
During the previous Democratic administration, several policies were enacted that did not sit well with a significant portion of the population. Despite the disagreements, there were no widespread, continuous protests challenging the administration’s authority. Instead, people waited for the electoral process and voted for change, resulting in Donald Trump’s rise to office…for the second time.
Now, a reversal of roles seems to be unfolding. The current administration is facing pushback, with protests emerging in reaction to many of its policies. This time, it’s the other half of the population voicing their discontent — loudly and persistently.
